Every day in the shop brings problems. That’s not pessimism — it’s reality. If you're not solving something, you’re probably missing something. And when you’re running a busy custom build operation, that “something” can mean downtime, angry customers, or worse — compromised quality.
The way I manage the noise is deceptively simple: I live by checklists. Morning lists, evening lists, mental updates on who’s where with what. It keeps me sharp. Keeps the crew aligned. Keeps the cars moving.
A checklist isn’t just a to-do list — it’s a discipline. And in this business, discipline keeps the wheels turning.
